On Friday, January 8, 2016, KSDK Ch. 5, featured Aspire Academy in a story about how reducing stress can help students. Ch. 5 is a partner with Alive and Well STL, an initiative focused on mental health issues and supports for the community.
Confluence Charter Schools is focused on trauma-informed and trauma-sensitivity for teachers and staff. The story featured on Ch. 5 is a good example of how Confluence is working toward awareness of how trauma impacts students.
