What is CA doing to keep students safe and educate them?
CA is committed to providing safe and health learning environments for students and staff. To name a few actions, we have increased custodial and maintenance services, purchased masks and inferred thermometers, increased sanitation methods, and updated policies and practices that will aid our organization in remaining up-to-date on guidelines issued by local and national health officials.
How is CA coordinating with other charter and independent schools, SLPS, the City of St. Louis and the State of Missouri?
CA engages weekly with other charter, public, private, and independent schools across the state and region regarding plans for re-entry and best practices relative to the impact of COVID-19. These weekly meetings have proven beneficial and allow CA to discuss plans and best approaches for keeping students and staff safe and healthy throughout the pandemic.
What about summer school?
CA is providing virtual summer learning in the months of June and July. In the month of August, we aim to bring back students in-person. Our facilities will be ready for receiving staff and students safely. More information is forthcoming throughout the summer.
