Welcome to Confluence Academy! Confluence Academy is a non-profit public charter school system that strives to provide the highest quality pre-collegiate education to students in kindergarten through high school. Sponsored by the
Missouri University of Science and Technology, Confluence Academy is governed by an independent
Board of Directors.
Since its establishment in 2003, Confluence Academy has grown as a public charter school from one campus and 245 students to a network of five schools serving more than 3,400 students. The Confluence Board contracts with two different education service providers to manage its schools -
EdisonLearning (
Old North,
South City,
Walnut Park) and
American Quality Schools (
Grand Center Arts Academy). Confluence Preparatory Academy is self-managed and overseen by the central office staff.
In its eight year history, Confluence has become one of the City's and State's most successful networks of public charter schools.
